lack of updates, apologies, as many may know, i'm in the midst of mocks, in the second week now, and blogging will not be part of the routine, but i just had to come here and type my fingers off, and to rant about my inability to sit comfortably on the couch all day while i watch micheal phelps, aaron piersol, matt greves, jason lezak, natalie coughlin, kristy conventry, leisel jones and all the other swimmers i have been following since 2 olympics ago. WHY DOES SWIMMING WEEK HAVE TO FALL ON THE LAST WEEK OF THE MOCKSS!! but looking on the brighter side, athletics will be on during school holidays. GO LIUXIANG, GO JEREMY WARINERR!!

i guess the whole world knows that micheal phelps is on his way for 8 olympic golds to break mark spitz 7 golds record, and yes, the event i was worrying about (200m freestlye) ended today, with a WR by phelps. luckily i didn't have exams in the morning, so i stayed home to give my tidal support, it is times like this i miss having my twin back home, cos the last olympics, we cheered and cried like babies for micheal phelps, ian thorpe and piersol was during our PMR trials (which i did so badly in), thanks to the olympics. today, i awas quite alone (which is why i'm blogging now). but limin kept calling from aussie, cos both of us like sharing out excitements. and LEZAKKK! you're the man, and it's so inspiring on how he chased the french swimmer during the 100m freestyle relay just so phelps wouldn't miss the 8th gold if they failed in the 100m freestlye relay. i quote lezak, "phelps came here to win 8, i'm glad to be part of it" and also a ironic quote by the cocky french swimmer, " the Americans? We're going to smash them, that's what we came here for" i think that is probably what pushed Lezak to swim the fastest 100m split in freestyle history, to shut the french swimmer upp.. fuckk, i can't wait for the medley relay.

tmr's exam finishes at 9.30am, english paper, and hell i'm gonna rush home to catch the finals at 10.00am, please dont make me miss the 200m butterfly finals! exams, you will not STOP me from watching the olympicss!! athletics next week! i can't wait. august will be a good month.
